The Virtual Assets Act, 2023 (Act 10 of 2023) provides for the licensing and regulation of virtual asset service providers in Namibia.
A designated Regulatory Authority licenses and supervises providers, supported by the Financial Intelligence Centre.
It applies to businesses that provide virtual asset services, such as exchange, transfer, custody, and token offerings.
